Four Whales To Go!

With the whales of Cape Cod raising $140,000 for charities and artists, the last 4 whales on Martha's Vineyard will be auctioned on November 25 to benefit local charities. The whales will be on display during the Holiday Artisan's Fair November 24 & 25, then will be auctioned off live at 3:30 on the 25th.

This summer's largest public art event on Cape Cod and the Islands was terriffic! Fifty-eight whales spent their summer throughout the Cape and Islands, thrilling families, art lovers, and whale enthusiasts.

The creative, unique, large whale sculptures spent their summer throughout  the Cape and Islands, and have garnered significant media attention. Television, radio, and print outlets have covered this wonderful event..

Visitors to the whales have found them a delight, enticing them to travel the region and go “whale watching”, many of whom are following the entire Trail, visiting all of the sculptures at their various sponsor locations. Each whale offers a unique experience in art, history, or just pure fun, from the whale that was ‘painted’ head to tail in tiles to the ones with creative names like "Get Whale Soon" or "Front Whale Drive".

It's been a whale of a time!
